I hope he'll be okay.

I'm supposed to get a mammogram done because my doctor found a lump, but it's likely just a cyst since I've had it since I was a teen I think. I just haven't had the time to book an appointment.

i got a mammogram done last year for the first time bc i found a lump during a self-exam. it took foreverrrr. waiting and prepping and waiting and then finally the actual mammogram. turns out, it was just a clogged milk duct from my short attempt at breast feeding lol

i'm sure everything's fine; better safe than sorry! my only rec is to bring a book!

I heard clogged milk ducts hurt! Glad it wasn't anything serious.

I know, I really should book. My mom has a lump too so she's supposed to get a mammogram and she's 61. My grandmother passed from ovarian cancer and my dad might have colon cancer, so I'm kinda like ahhhh wtf is this because we never worried about cancer ever in my family until the last few years. :|

I hope all is well and I'll bet it's just what you think it is! But yes, please make an appointment soon. I had to wait like 4 months to get one, and maybe they're not as backed up but definitely do it soon.

For me--maybe because I'm busty--it doesn't hurt at all. I was always worried about it when I visited and it's seriously nbd so I hope it's the same for you. <3

hope everything goes well with your mammogram when you're able to do it! i had one a couple of years ago and it turned out to just be a lump of fat? the doctor was like "yeah it just turns out you have lumpy boobs, take some vitamin e and it might help" lmao

I had a mammogram last year because I had swelling in my right underarm and my family has a history of cancer (breast, ovarian, pancreatic.) The technician and staff at the imaging center were AWFUL. They openly questioned why I was getting a mammogram because I didn't have any of the "traditional" symptoms and the technician was rough with me during the exam. At one point, she grabbed my head because I wasn't positioning it correctly and I'm happy I kept my mask on because she didn't and her breath smelled gross. I also had an ultrasound at the same time and the technician was way nicer and understanding of why I was getting a mammogram. I hope yours goes smoothly and you can get in quickly.
