i just started watching it this week and i really like it! not yet done with season 1, but i love the episode where reagan puts together the exhibit from the "junk" people donated (bless wayne and sally, lol) and was heartbroken when she opened that old lady's storage full of artifacts (i hope she steals it).
I was so bored with season 1. I was left more frustrated than anything after watching it. Also, I was like "I miss laughing," I don't remember finding anything funny in it.
i liked s1 but nathan was so tiring and dragged the whole show down. reagan and terry should have been co-leads (or reagan should have been solo protagonist). i haven’t started s2 yet but will likely get to it soon.
I don't have a breakdown of screen time per character but in S2, it really felt like Reagan was the main character and Nathan was a secondary character. He felt like more of a supporting role, which I was totally fine with. He's still around as Reagan's BFF and doing stuff around town, but I felt like there was a lot less focus on him this season.
that’s good to hear! in s1 stuff like his [Spoiler (click to open)]paternity revelation breakdown dragged soooo much for me since i just did not care, so that makes me hopeful i’ll prefer s2 on the whole
S2 felt much more like the Reagan and Terry show to me, which I definitely preferred. Smaller doses of Nathan, and usually he was with more likeable characters.
I love this show. I love that there are really no bad guys (maybe Josh?), the characters continue to grow and it’s not over the top ridiculousness for the most part. Really heartfelt and well written. I freaking love Terry and Reagan. The only aspect of the show I dislike is everyone hating Reagan when they’ve really shown no reason for it other than her leaving her groom at the alter a decade ago? Why would the entire community hold on to a grudge because of that?
