I like this show in theory, and I love that it's a show about the GLAM sector, but I also feel let down by it - I think it has loads of potential that Season 1 didn't quite hit. I think Nathan was a bit meh - I'm in favour of centreing a platonic friendship but I think Nathan feels a bit too middle-aged white guy-y to pull of that relationship maybe? Like the characteristics they've given him of super into local history, completely blind to his privilege and colonisation, but also close friends with a Native woman in the museum sector just don't gel together. How have they been friends this long without any of these issues ever coming up? No way he wouldn't say some casually racist shit before now.

Anyway, I'll definitely give Season 2 a go! I remember thinking I wish Season 1 focused more on Reagan and Terry so maybe we'll get more of that.

Yeah, Nathan definitely becomes secondary in s2 and there’s a lot of focus on Reagan and Terry.

I'm about halfway through the second season and liking it. I really enjoy Jana Schmieding, and I think when she and Terry are paired up (platonically!!!) it's super fun. Making Nathan more of a secondary character was a good idea.

I watched the first season and liked it, but tbh I only originally watched it because, as a fat lady, I'll try anything that stars another fat women, especially one where she gets a romantic interest. But I stayed for Terry and I'm excited to watch season 2!

One thing I really liked about S2 was seeing how the relationships between different characters have grown and changed. It was great seeing Reagan and Terry have conversations (instead of just being adversaries) and I also enjoyed the new Bobbie/Nathan friendship.

I am so glad that they are keeping Nathan and Reagan platonic BFFs forever. Like the actress who plays Reagan talked about, I have had several relationships with guys that have been 100% platonic and we see those so rarely in the media. Whenever there's a M/F friendship on tv or in movies, it's just a matter of time before the writers have them hook up, fall in love, or otherwise move away from being strictly platonic.
