I found out a few nights ago when I was doing yoga. "so sad so sexy" was my yoga soundtrack and I was like "new album!?!?"

i've only listened to it once so far. it's very stripped back and only a little over 30 mins long. nothing immediately stuck out to me like on her previous albums, but i feel like i'll return to it in the fall/winter and like it a lot more lol.

with the hayley kiyoki and becca going public last week, I completely missed that lykke li dropped a new album last week! I know you posted about it last week op but ontd doesn't read. I have been checking that out this week.
I have also been on a big En Vogue kick. I saw them live last week and fucking "don't let go" is still THAT BOP.

New Calvin Harris/Dua song is okay, but definitely no One Kiss. I'm sure it'll grow on me.

Bright Eyes released the "companion" EPs for their first three albums, so I'm listening to them now. I didn't expect to like them more than the originals, and so far that's the case, but it's fun to hear a different take on them.

I'm loling all over this post. OP, please tell me that group doesn't actually have twelve members. 😂 What do they all do? Are some of the members just there for ambiance and to stand around and look pretty?

oh, honey. 12 members isn't even half the number of members that some groups have. you'd be surprised, though. line distribution tends to be relatively even, though certain members definitely end up getting the shaft. loona is another group with 12 members, and the choreography that they pull off as a dozen is pretty impressive:

but to answer your question, agencies do designate members of groups as "visuals" for the purpose of... adding ambiance.

Me as a fan having to check and see who was missing because they actually have 13 members.

And again as a fan, it would be nice if a couple of them did just stand there and look pretty instead, but everyone gets lines and they often have songs on their albums where they break into groups of four or five.
