well in a way, yes, because they barely acknowledged Marc's Jewish heritage, I hope they bring the problems he and his dad went through more in S2 because there was a very important issue with antisemitism they suffered but otherwise none, even most people with DID loved it.

I think, as well as Loki, this is being set up for a second season.

I am pretty sure this is gonna be renewed. And I wouldn't mind if the show stayed its own thing and didnt crossover into the larger MCU

I have to assume it was only a season finale because that's a really fucking bizarre way to end a series if otherwise.

I did like the series overall but I think it had a terrible pacing issue. I liked a lot of things that happened in the finale (everything with Layla was fucking amazing) but it had the shortest run time and left a lot open-ended and desperately needed to pad some scenes out.

Anyway, all that to say, yes, I'd watch a second season lol

Also, I've really loved Oscar in this role. His smooth transitions between Marc and Steven this episode were perfect.

agree, the issues are the editing and the pacing but i loved everything else

I've heard a lot of speculation that the MCU might be planning to do a Midnight Sons/dark Avengers-type movie down the road. This could definitely be a set up for that imo.

Perfect timing I just finished watching. I liked it, but it felt cut short. I'm excited to see Multiverse of Madness tomorrow, and I'm hoping more of the shows play into the movies.
