well in a way, yes, because they barely acknowledged Marc's Jewish heritage, I hope they bring the problems he and his dad went through more in S2 because there was a very important issue with antisemitism they suffered but otherwise none, even most people with DID loved it.

I am so wildly unsurprised by the terrible way they approached his Jewishness which is so intrinsic to his character in the comics.
And Mohammed Diab had the AUDACITY to say Jewish watchers would be pleased 🥴

I heard something about Mark being Jewish and was like where? I think the only way they acknowledged it was talking about sitting shiva and having him and his father wear kippot. I had no idea it was supposed to be important to the character.
