I just recently gotten back to watching japanese dramas again. Speaking of legal/crime jdoramas, I highly recommend Joker: Yurusarezaru Sousakan . It remains my fave crime/legal dorama.

I read the article you linked and they have a problem with the source material, not the show itself. I haven't read the book, but apparently the show isn't a very close adaptation of it

Oh yeah I kept forgetting about this series but I wish it’d get a theatrical feature film adaptation. Not sure why that dude ansel gotta be the lead. Infuriating

Screaming that this memoir filled with half-truths has finally hit so many degrees of separation from when it was originally called out that it was turned into a TV show starring Ansel Elgort shfjkdhfdjl
