While at a con dinner last night, Misha asked if fans were introverts, extroverts, or bisexual and then casually mentioned he was all three before moving on.

It always makes me happy when fellow bisexuals come out. It especially makes me happy when men come out as bisexual. Bi men don’t have enough rep 💕💜💙

There is a lot to unpack re:
the specific stigma and harm men face when coming out and it is not discussed often.

It truly isn’t. The way so many straight women will let their homophobia shine right through by refusing to date bi men, or how it’s still just viewed as a stepping stone before “coming out fully” just ugh. This is a major win and I hope others follow his lead.

I first attempted to come out as bi in the mid 2000s and a majority of the flack I got came from gay men. They said I was just a slutty girl and doing it for attention. Misogyny and bi erasure are still very much issues in the gay community but lord it was rough AF back then.
