I can’t believe it’s been a year already.

My friend Emma and I worked at Lush together and the first time we hung out was at a New Year’s Eve party where we drunkenly sang along to “Can’t Sprak French.” Emma is from Scotland and was very confused as to how a person living in North Carolina even knew who Girls Aloud were, which led to me trying to drunkenly explain ontd lol

So thanks ONTD and Girls Aloud for some good memories. I definitely never thought I’d bound with a good friend based on random music knowledge from here hah

I sometimes still cannot comprehend that she's gone. Like, I know she is, but my brain just doesn't want to accept it.

It is all so especially hard for me because I went through bc at the same time as she did. I got my diagnosis a couple months later, but went through chemo p much with her and I had hoped against all odds she would pull through. The fact that she didn't is still so devastating to me.

I hadn't listened to GA since Sarah passed and then Love Machine popped up in my shuffle music while I was running and I nearly started crying. I'm glad she was able to reunite with the girls before she passed...but it's still hard to believe she's gone
