April 18, 2022 Girls Aloud are planning a reunion gig to raise money for important medical equipment that could help diagnose cancer sooner. The show will be in the memory of late member Sarah Harding, who passed away from breast cancer in September 2021.
The news was confirmed by Nadine Coyle.
“We’re planning a night for an event to raise money in honour of Sarah,” Coyle said. “She’s very much in the forefront of our minds."
“We want to raise money for a piece of medical equipment that helps diagnose cancer earlier so people can be treated. We definitely want to do something to help others."
Coyle also said that the loss of Harding “still affects us deeply - to think about everything that she went through”.
No other information about the reunion is yet known. The last time Girls Aloud performed together was in 2013.
