he played for my team for awhile and i never liked him, i got weird divo vibes (among many other issues and also got the same vibes from a lot of the first team lineups in general)... but also i hate that he does so much charity and contributes lots of money for charity that he gets a pass for every horrible thing including actual legal problems and crimes he has done off the pitch.*

i am a huge footie fan which my partner finds hugely baffling bc he thinks all footie fans are dumb as rocks, i try to tell him that's a statistically not possible, but so many are blinded and yes, sadly they are so dumb about it if they think you cannot be both philanthropic and an arsehole, people are multifaceted.
