So many of the “rules” that apply in most career environments just do not apply to Hollywood, even though they clearly should. The rot is systemic in Hollywood

i've only ever worked in the public sector and non profs/ngos which have consequences for labour violations the huge one (sadly) is consequence especially from an optics pov, but i feel esp in western countries there are important labour laws..

i get that most people in film and tv are freelancers but, there are rules. when these happen, is there no public ombudsman for investigations? i get even with policies in place when you are young and starting out in your industry and field, you don't want to complain... but wtf. like there are huge tax laws everyone tries to abide by or atleast report on, i bet, but exploitation in the workplace seems kind of important.

or is it that the optics of being a hard-arse large, producer/production company even better ??? gross. the monopolies and power of these large companies.

Anyone Trying to Figure Out the Movie(s)?

I haven't seen a lot of her movies, but the only sex scenes of hers I remember are the ones from A Royal Affair. She's surely done more right? A Royal Affair had quite a lot of them, and one was a super awkward hand job scene. There's also a handjob scene in the Green Knight.

Tulip Fever maybe? it was originally screened in 2015 and its release was delayed until September 2017 for some reason. it was the last movie The Weinstein Company ever released because the big Weinstein expose ran a month after it flopped at theaters.

I was thinking that one too but I haven't seen it so I don't know if it has sex scenes. Harvey doesn't bode well for the movie/behind the scenes tho obviously

i believe it does have a few sex scenes, but i'm basing this off a This Had Oscar Buzz episode from a few years ago. they get into the release of the movie and all that stuff too

Yeah I remember Emilia Clarke saying about Game Of Thrones that they would usually leave her shivering and naked, and it was her co-star who was always making sure to ask, 'Can we get her a robe? She's shivering!’ Which is awesome of him to look out for her, but you would think that would be something that production themselves would be taking care of as a matter of course
