He's a nut. Also I doubt he's going to actually serve that much time.

just why

he could've gotten off with some community service if he wouldn't have escalated it this far

In an industry where everyone’s doing something for attention he took it way too far

He could have faked an attack without filing a police report, if it came down to it. He'd still look like a clown, but at least he wouldn't be in jail.

Well this sentencing is absurd and derives from an embarrassed police forced. I also don’t like the tone in some of these comments at those who still held back and had belief that Jussie is telling the truth. We don’t trust cops and we know the statistics. I’m not encouraging people to support someone who faked a hate crime, but it doesn’t take a lot to see why people were and are reluctant in believing he lied about all of this.

yup, thank you. if they're anything like lapd, cpd probably doesn't solve any sort of crime for poor people or do shit to actually help with real hate crimes (including the ones they cause) which is why this is getting so much steam.

I understand what you mean, but I also see it from another perspective as well. I was wrong about him after I learned more about the events. I didnt want to believe he could do something like that, but he also grew up in a Hollywood family and he probably doesnt think like you and me, despite being a minority. He was thinking of furthering himself vs we consider faking hate crimes could affect victims of hate crimes in the future. I dont think for one second he stopped and thought about the consequences.

I'm with you, I didn't want to believe it either. And I do believe he is guilty. I appreciate your comment and understanding mine for what it is, which is just the most basic level of sympathy for people who are still struggling with this situation. And they do exist, even from very public figures.

Originally I thought it was going to play out that he was legitimately attacked, but knew the attackers and why they did it but didn't want to reasoning to get out. I'd love to know hat he was actually thinking/what the outcome he was looking for was.
