Anyways. I read Daddy by Emma Cline for last month's challenge. It was okay. I was hoping I would like it better than The Girls, but I didn't.

Daddy was kind of boring. I was listening to it through audiobook and before I knew it, a new story started. There were two that I enjoyed but I hated how abruptly it ended. The Los Angeles one was one of them.

i'm one of the v few people here on ontd who actually loved 'girls', but 'daddy' also disappointed me. i thought the story selection wasn't particularly cohesive theme & quality wise tbh. i do enjoy her writing style a lot tho, so i'll keep reading whatever she puts out.
