I got part way into No Exit and then the author started to describe the kidnapper’s farts and I was just like “Yeah, ok let’s read something else.”

Last film I watched was Beats. Sometimes a bit too much video clip, but definitely with heart.

i watched the worst person in the world, licorice pizza & king’s man recently. absolutely loved the first, absolutely hated the second and was so bored by the last. you cannot put aaron taylor johnson in a movie and waste him like that!

[Spoiler (click to open)]I agree about King’s Man but also I was NOT prepared for his son to die. What a fakeout with his heroic battlefield run only for him and that poor other guy to die when they made it to the trench. I’ve never been so haunted by a movie I didn’t really care about lol.

I actually really liked The King's Man. I didn't like the 2nd one at all, but moving it back to Europe (and bananas-version WW1!) was so much better.

The end villain was ??? but I think he was kind of supposed to be. Flying crazy Rasputin fighting in monk's robes was A+

i 100% thought cyrano was already out rather than delayed

this past week i watched parallel mothers (which i honestly enjoyed a lot) and the worst person in the world (which i wanted to like more? renate reinsve was fantastic and i did like it overall, but i think the online hype set my expectations too high)
