I’d actually think this would’ve been better if they didn’t include the Obamas and chose someone else who wasn’t so recent. I keep comparing them to the irl Obamas rather than being immersed in the story.

Agree! I feel like anyone after Barbara Bush would be too distracting since we're so aware of them. It would have been great to see some of the lesser-discussed ones, like Rosalynn Carter or Lady Bird. I don't know too much about either, but that's the point, right?

Agree! I think Rosalynn Carter was a pretty involved and influential First Lady so that would’ve been interesting. Or even going back further in time to Edith Wilson who apparently took over after her husband had the stroke.
