The latest episode was wild. I think the husband is the crazy one, inviting homeless skinheads to use his bathroom. The (British) actor who plays him was really overdoing his Philly accent this week... made me laugh.

lol good point. Dorothy's reaction to seeing the homeless girl was funny. Didn't this episode feel different..almost like a sitcom? I laughed several times, like when Sean detailed his gourmet pizza ingredients to the homeless kids.

That's real sweet. IIRC aren't a lot of the episodes directed by up and comers? Say what you will about the man but at least he's helping the young people.

I don't know anything that's happening here.

I have not seen this show but I wanna talk about Glass for a minute since this is a Shyamalan post and the only place where I can talk about it lmao I put off watching that movie for literal years because everyone said it was so horrible and unwatchable. He has put out some genuine irredeemable garbage at points so I kinda took people's word for it and skipped the movie.

Well, finally watched it last month and maybe I'm going insane but I feel like 90% of the hate on that film was an anti-Shyamalan circle jerk and/or people being angry that it isn't an action packed Marvel-style epic? It's a CRAZY movie, really surreal and quirky, lots of long, slow scenes of people talking, no big showdown burning down the city but I still enjoyed it and found it, at worse, maybe a 7/10 movie vs the 1/10 most Reddit bros were giving it.

Only thing I strongly disliked was Bruce Willis's performance cuz holy hell, he has gotten so fucking lazy as an actor.

Yeah I agree, I’d give it a 6 or a 7 but it’s not terrible at all

Me too, he was pretty much the only reason why I stuck around with Animal Kingdom for so long even though he wasn’t there all the time lol
