i believe it does. wicked was supposed to start production in march and in atlanta (just like the color purple), but was pushed back to june and the production has moved to the uk. i say she picked the wrong musical to back up lol

I would have loved if Cynthia could have reprised her role. Especially since I think Wicked is going to be a mess lol.

i don't know man, has Fantasia ever acted on screen before? Does Taraji sing?

Danielle Brooks and Corey Hawkins is pretty great casting.

I'm guessing Halle is only playing young Nettie?

I remember she acted in her own lifetime movie of her life but regarding Broadway I think I remember hearing nothing but rave reviews for her performance in the color purple.

This is a beautiful kickass cast. Wow.

I was too young the first time I attempted to watch this movie and was scarred by it. I've never gone back, but maybe I should try again now that I'm older.
