Simon Rex for Red Rocket and Marlee for CODA snubbed

Honestly, didn't like Kristen in Spencer... the entire movie was so lame if you ask me. It's very hard to play someone who was alive relatively recently, especially someone who was so heavily recorded. Her Diana wasn't right and too many of the weird Kristen acting tics were present. The eye acting at times made me laugh out loud, she looked like mayham miller in that video at times.

This is what happens when twitter gays have jobs at influential publications - 5000 articles like "YAS KRISTEN AS DIANA IS A MOOD" and some meme videos had people convinced she had an oscar in the bag for some reason, and now she may not even get a nom haha they did the same thing to Jennifer for Hustlers (though I LOVED that performance)

i think the lead from coda's been so underappreciated, she really carried the fuck out of that movie

I feel like the actors were all really great and could get a nom on any given year, and Troy Kotsur being the one getting all the acting love is because supporting actor happens to be the weakest category for 2022. I'm pleased to see the entire cast getting love here.

it would honestly make my day if it came through and won best ensemble, especially over the others nominated. i'm just wary they'll give it to gucci or don't look up or some shit

I don't understand why people say this when she's literally been campaigning for the past year?

She keeps giving sound bites in interviews that out of context make it sound like she doesn't care about awards. People really zeroed in on the "I don't give a sh*t" quote from the Variety interview. It's weirdly self-sabotaging given that she has been out there doing so much work to get the nom.

i loved Don't Look Up but it wasn't because of the acting/actors tbh 🤣😂

since sag's inception not a single lead actress has won the oscar without getting a sag nom first.

power of the dog should be fine. 3 of the last 4 best pictures winners never got a sag ensemble nom, so its 3 solo noms should be more than enough to keep its momentum.

yeah plus it'll do well with the other big guilds too (producer, director, writers if it's eligible because their rules are insane)

Do they mention the biggest surprise of all - that the 2 actors who did the least for their roles were both nominated for the atrocity that was Being the Ricardos?!
