This year's BP contenders are...uninspiring. I enjoyed Belfast but it's not awards worthy. CODA and Don't Look Up did absolutely nothing for me. The Power of the Dog is good but not a masterpiece.

Similarly, killer performances from Tessa Thompson, Jodie Comer, Penelope Cruz being passed over for the Chastain/Kidman/Stewart biopic trio is so lazy.

I feel like Dunst is a sure thing. She's been around forever, has the It's Her Time narrative, and has worked with so many of her peers voting.

This was cute, she had won the now defunct Juvenile Oscar but at some point lost and never could get it replaced until now!

Cool because the kid version is teeny tiny compared to the standard one!

I love it! I love Hayley Mills so much. Her movies were so formative for me. Pollyanna, That Darn Cat, the Parent Trap movies, I was so in love.

Also, her sister snapped up Maxwell Caulfield, who was 18 years her junior, and they've been married 40+ years. Iconic behaviour.
