It's getting time for them to create a best animated series category, with Arcane, What If..?, Invisible, Love/Death + Robots, Inside Job and so on. There's more actual quality among animated series than animated movies 2021. (Thou Encanto was great!)

Succession was fantastic, I'm close to youtube-ing O Yeong-su's Squid Game performance to see what he did to beat Kieran and Matthew.

O Yeong-Su was honestly excellent, you won’t regret watching Squid Game but I do feel bummed for both Kieran and Matthew who put in career best performances.
Matthew’s little ‘pops’ during the piss mad episode had me 🥺

i'm not mad a career actor won tbh, his wiki says he's been in theater since the 60s. also, he really was fantastic and a very important part of the series. it's awesome that he's won such a US-centric award. you'd probably love squid game if you can handle violence and gore (which I hate in like, a horror movie, but squid game is so much more tbh and the story made it worth it).
