It's getting time for them to create a best animated series category, with Arcane, What If..?, Invisible, Love/Death + Robots, Inside Job and so on. There's more actual quality among animated series than animated movies 2021. (Thou Encanto was great!)

Succession was fantastic, I'm close to youtube-ing O Yeong-su's Squid Game performance to see what he did to beat Kieran and Matthew.

O Yeong-Su was honestly excellent, you won’t regret watching Squid Game but I do feel bummed for both Kieran and Matthew who put in career best performances.
Matthew’s little ‘pops’ during the piss mad episode had me 🥺

i'm not mad a career actor won tbh, his wiki says he's been in theater since the 60s. also, he really was fantastic and a very important part of the series. it's awesome that he's won such a US-centric award. you'd probably love squid game if you can handle violence and gore (which I hate in like, a horror movie, but squid game is so much more tbh and the story made it worth it).

Only Kieran was nominated for the GG, for some reason they nominated two dudes from The Morning Show instead of nominating Matthew

I would suggest just watching Squid Game as opposed to youtubing clips of O Yeong-su; I think it would be a better experience to experience his character in context
