Hopefully, I'm more concerned with the wussifying of the character. I don't expect them to show someone killing themself out of fear of Kingpin or him smashing someones face into pulp with a car door, but don't make him a softie either who is getting taken out by Maya or Kate. Assuming DD remains canon, the guy is a powerhouse mountain of ruthless intent and I just hope he remains such. Getting caught in a photo casually is already something that DD Kingpin wouldn't allow to happen.

Good:
That was a really interesting way to show the “blip”. Did WandaVision do the same thing with Monica? I can’t remember now. Pugh is so fun to watch.

And I am, of course, super freaking excited as a die hard Daredevil fan.

And Kate is awesome and I want good things for her.

Bad:
Renner looks really stupid in that costume. And I dislike the change in Maya’s backstory a lot, because here Clint really is responsible for things he did (while in the comics it was definitely all Fisk’s fault).

My DD fannishness is wondering how Maya might communicate with Matt (potentially), since Maya in the comics speaks really well due to her super power? Maybe they’ll work something else out? Or show she can speak later? Or they just hang out with their phones out doing text to speech?

I remember they did, I just don’t remember the effect they used, you know? I think because the part that stuck with me from WandaVision was the emotional part (her mother just gone) and not how it looked.

And poor Clint. I know he (and everyone everywhere) would rather have Natasha instead of you, but she was always going to win that fight on Vormir if she wanted. I mourn her loss but respect her sacrifice.

I really like how some of the D+ shows are showing us what happened when people reappeared after the Snap (sorry, I just can't get on board with Blip). Monica in the hospital in WV and Yelena here in bathroom. And now I really want to see Wong rounding up all the snapped Avengers, with a quick, hey you're back, don't freak out, it's been 5 years, and also we need to go kick this guy's ass right now. Be ready to step through the portal when it appears. Cool? Cool.

I agree with everything. I wonder if next episode we’ll go back and see Kingpin’s role in this (like this episode we went back with Yelena and two episodes before we went back with Maya).
