I think it’s just incredibly polarizing and with nuclear plant meltdowns many people (me included!) are kind of wary of nuclear power plants

Kinda related, but I used to live in a county that has a nuclear power (I even worked a temp job there) and I used to hear that they pay a lot of money to the county to be there and I always wondered where that money went bc they don’t even have a grocery store they and they had to close a school bc young people are leaving it.

Honestly don’t even know where the sheriff’s sept was and i only saw one sheriff lmy whole 18yrs being there lol. But I always heard rumors about the school board and other town officials pocketing money so that’s probably where it went 🤷🏽‍♀️
