I mentioned this in the Sunday free for all, but I was worried about how they were going to top season 4 and well they haven’t been 😬

when i read a recap of the episode where nathan left issa in the middle of the night, the recapper said that stressed them out to watch because that would mean he left issa asleep with the door unlocked

then when nathan's cousin was telling him why they kicked him out, he explicitly mentioned that nathan was coming and going and leaving the door unlocked

maybe pure coincidence but i thought it was an interesting detail

i have one of those and recently got locked out of my whole house by it so i'm bitter about the fact that they exist tbh

I listen to a recap podcast and they theorize that death is the theme this season, just like Frank Ocean was the theme of season 1, Etc. It seems like that's going to be the case with next week's episode.

Maybe I'm a sucker but I like Nathan and Issa together. However, I love seeing Issa do what she needs to do for her job and building her brand and her relationship with Molly. That feels very much like where I am right now. Just being a 30 something scared to do something but doing it anyway. Dating is not really at the Forefront of my mind.

i also wish they'd gone into more detail about what kelli meant by saying she's not drinking until she reaches enlightenment. i just wanted more details about what she's up to in general!
