Right? This and the Mel Gibson movie announcement not too long ago reeks of thirst. It could be worse though, he's not on Kfed levels imo but maybe more strategic/smart about it? I think regardless what he does people will question his motives. He could care about Britney and still want to advance his career at the same time 🤷‍♂️

I cannot help but be suspicious of him because of how it seems Jamie attempted to isolate her and control who was in her life, but I hope for her sake he's legit and will be good to her.

By all accounts he seems to have been on her side for this.

while i definitely understand people's hesitance to trust him (or anyone around britney, for that matter), from everything i have read and seen i think he genuinely loves her. we know now that previous relationships that britney had over the past 13 years were only allowed to progress if the boyfriend fell in line and accepted the status quo, and when that didn't happen they were out. i think the difference with sam is that he came around at a time where the cracks in the cship were beginning to show and jamie was losing control little by little behind the scenes.

i could end up being wrong, of course. but it seems unlikely to me that someone this ambitious and young would remain in a relationship for five years with a woman who lived off an insultingly low allowance and couldn't do much of her own free will, even if she is britney spears, if he was in it for himself. (this isn't me stanning or being team sam btw, just offering my perspective!)
