I dated a girl who aligned her life based on her star chart and compatibility between rising signs and never again. I found out what my rising moon or sun or whatever is bc I don't know my exact time of birth, and neither does my mom

I try not to be an asshole about it. I guess it's fun as long as you don't spend a lot of money on it or let it control your life like with any belief system

Anyway listen to Oh No Ross and Carrie

Also check out their Scientology, ayahuasca, Christian Science, and Mormon episodes.

The stars were not aligned for us

Idk what she's doing right now bc I've been avoiding Facebook and Instagram for over a year now and im not checking in on that rn

Tbh it was bound to be disaster from the start bc I met her on the day she split up with her gf while I was on a date with another person so maybe it wasn't our charts 👀

I mean, nothing happened for six months and we didn't last more than three months 😂

I would like to have my chart done, but I also don't want to spend $30k on a crystal. How can you find a reputable person to do a reading with? I had one booked a few months ago just from Googling in my area, but the person seemed flakey so I canceled.

ETA: Capricorns rise up! Or whatever.

My theory is astrology is fun as long as you aren't scamming people out of lots of money or letting it control your life. I understood the impulse, it's comforting to have something to turn to for an explanation when life is going poorly.

There's a tweet that says "stock markets are just astrology for men" and it's really stuck with me, lol.

Yep! And sports (like following sports blogs etc) are gossip sites for men.

Astrology is like playing the lotto for me. I know I'm not going to win but the fun is in imagining it. I also find my horoscope often tells me to slow down or take it easy so it's like self care. It forces you to think about your life and things happening in it and I find that a useful tool for introspection.

I don't believe in astrology but I'm also a total Gemini.
