She is very brave, imagine how many religious people will attack her for this.
Lady Gaga also speak about her abortion a few months ago, it's insane that we're going back this way.
I blame religious people, if we live in a Secular state this shit wouldn't happen

"If men could get pregnant, abortion would be a sacrament".

They would be available at every corner, at every gas station. And no one would dare question it

Hell, men would be bragging about who had the biggest amount of them or whatever.

which is makes their fear-mongering histrionics about how "the muslims want to bring sharia law to america" all the more infuriatingly hypocritical

They want theocracy, but the one of their choosing! How about you keep your religion out of my life? It's insane that they are somehow sharing a party with the crazy "MUH FREEDOM" folks, but it's because they all love the patriarchy the most!

i am obviously not famous but i also recently started talking more publicly about my abortion, thanks in part to fucking anti-choice laws. i had one in early 2016; it wasn't because i'd been raped or was a victim of incest or anything, it was just not the right time for me to have a child. i have never regretted it once.

it'd be really great if one day women don't need to share their traumas publicly just to have our humanity taken seriously!!!!!!

Good for you! There's such a stigma around abortions that I feel like nobody really wants to talk about having one unless they're forced to or they're really close to the person they talk to, and it shouldn't be like this.

exactly! it's a medical procedure, full stop. there's such a stigma about talking about anything to do with women's reproductive health, and i hate it.

you're right, everything that has to do with women's reproductive health is such a taboo.
