I'm seeing Tammy Faye tomorrow (with Jessica Q&A!! 💖) and Blue Bayou on Sunday. And is The Duke just not coming out?! I saw a trailer several weeks ago and supposedly 9/17 is the release date, but I can't find showings anywhere. I don't like to be teased this way!!

NewFest tickets go on sale tomorrow and I just know I'm gonna spend too much $$$ again. As I already did for NYFF lmao

Sony Pictures Classics truly do love to market their films poorly, so I'm guessing they moved The Duke back since their website just says "Coming Soon". They'll probably dump it in January.

Really looking forward to Tammy Faye, but I'm probably not gonna be able to go til Tuesday because of other plans. Same with Blue Bayou. I'm definitely concerned about smaller releases like that absolutely flopping this year between the pandemic and Arclight closing, but fingers crossed that we're on a more positive trajectory re: COVID.

Last night was my last night home alone for a while, so I watched Reminiscence, which my husband thought looked terrible from the very first time we saw the trailer in like May, lol. I knew it wasn't gonna be good, but I wasn't expecting it to be so boring. Idk how you take such a seemingly cool concept and make it dull AF with terrible dialogue... what a waste of Rebecca Ferguson and Thandiwe Newton. :/

Saturday night, we're seeing The Guilty with a Jake Q&A, and Sunday we're seeing The Night of the Hunter with an intro from Alex Winter. I've missed seeing stuff like that so much!

Keeping an eye out for The Eyes of Tammy Faye, Blue Bayou, The Nowhere Inn and Boris Karloff: The Man Behind the Monster. Saw My Son yesterday, I liked it. But tonight I'll be watching Candyman, finally!!

Currently watching the highly anticipated Straight Outta Nowhere: Scooby-Doo! Meets Courage the Cowardly Dog.

The Starling looks absolutely dreadful. I will watch Nightbooks this weekend and Candyman.
