I was 7 minutes into the pilot and was already mad Linda can't die several more times.

I’ve only watched the first episode but was surprised they used Vince Foster’s suicide as a plot device. They’re taking a few liberties (as is to be expected) but I’m liking the characterization of Linda so far.

But by all accounts, Linda Tripp was in fact very affected by Vince Foster's death, and if I remember correctly, it will pop back again during the impeachment hearing and/or in motivating what she did. (I think she thought the Clintons did not care enough to protect Foster/let his name be sullied. But my memory may be faulty.)
