-Buffy The Vampire Slayer aired for 5 seasons on TheWB before moving over to UPN where it would air its final 2 seasons. This wasn't your usual 'network cancels show, new network takes pity and picks up canceled show'. With it being TBT lets look back at the high profile move between networks

This post is so goddamned nostalgic and cozy and I cannot thank OP enough. Also LOLing at the fact this premiered on my birthday and I was SO very excited.

Funny enough I actually did watch Buffy more when it made the switch to UPN. LOL I LOVED those "Buffy lives" promos!

Then I watched the reruns a lot on FX.

I have such a soft spot for SMG. Buffy was one of my favourite shows growing up.

I didn't watch Buffy until I was a sophomore in college actually. I wish I had watched it when it first aired but it started when I was pretty young and my parents were super strict about what I was allowed to watch until I was like 16. I do remember some of these ads tho, especially that Buffy Lives one. It's super cool!!
