but i will say as much as this seems to be nate's villain origin story, nick is doing an amazing job playing him

his delivery was honestly so tense and unnerving, esp the last scene with will

as much as i hate what nate's becoming because i loved him last season. obviously, he's going to get some comeuppance at some point and i just hope it ends with him being good again.

kind of surprised they had someone go villain before fully redeeming jamie tbh. but maybe jamie will play into that since he was such a bully to nate in s1?

I assume there’ll be some kind of moment between them due to both of them having troubled relationships with their fathers.

that's a good shout. I'd really like to see that

I can't tell if Jamie's redemption is done or not. I hope it's not but he's been so secondary lately I can't really tell. It'd be interesting to have him involved here.

Honestly the only thing I really hated last season was when Nate thought he was getting fired in the finale and went off and even called Rebecca a "shrew" to her face. It felt so out of character and awful, so I'm kind of glad they're actually making that kind of toxicity part of his character and addressing it.

he goes from 0-60 with no in between tbh

Ok I actually read the interview (ONTD does read sometimes) and I'm glad to see he brings up the "shrew" moment too, among others.

YUP that was so telling for me. And he does something similar to Keeley in the episode where she and Rebecca are teaching him how to be assertive so he can get the table at the restaurant.

that last scene was a lot. it was hard to watch, honestly. i need nate to get a solid and swift kick in the ass immediately.
