James McAvoy was given no script for his latest thriller ‘MY SON’, instead he improvises and reacts to the story in real time, alongside the audicence. And I´m sure it'll be a hot mess.
I'm more curious how they guided the story. Did the cast get a general script? It's not like they could have set lines since no one would know how James would respond.
I think in films where all the actors are improvising, they get a general outline of the overall plot and of each scene, and maybe certain lines or points to include?
While I do love hearing James McAvoy speak off the cuff in general (that accent!!), the last improvised movie I saw was the mostly terrible Endings, Beginnings, so it's a no from me.
Oh I didn't realise that one was improvised too. My girlfriend wanted to watch it for Sebastian Stan and that other bearded one but I think I'll give it a miss.

But the visuals were pretty and Sebastian Stan and our Quinoa Queen and most famous NFL fiancé had good chemistry together.
