OP usually tries to do newer releases for movie nights, but thanks to a suggestion in our watch party last week, we'll be showing a "classic". (I gotta know my audience, so The Hustler with Fine White Man Paul Newman might be too much of a classic, so I went to the 90s.) Unfortunately, we're back to upsetero heteros again.

I dated a Not Talented Actor 12 years back who called this Romeo Plus Juliet Equals Crap and I gave him hell about it. I skipped the last class on schedule of my junior year of high school to see this at the earliest possible showing with my friend, who ended up running out of the theater in (thrilled and shocked) laughter when the boys choir sings Prince for about 10 seconds. This movie/soundtrack is a time capsule of Fall/Winter 1996 for me. 🥲
