ONTD Watch Party: Throwing It Back to the Classics! Tonight's Screening is Romeo + Juliet (Hulu)
OP usually tries to do newer releases for movie nights, but thanks to a suggestion in our watch party last week, we'll be showing a "classic". (I gotta know my audience, so The Hustler with Fine White Man Paul Newman might be too much of a classic, so I went to the 90s.) Unfortunately, we're back to upsetero heteros again.
Synopsis: Mixing Shakespeare's classic prose with contemporary imagery, this is a brilliant new interpretation of the timeless tale of star-crossed lovers.
Starring: Prius Trailblazer Leonardo DiCaprio, lip quivering Claire Danes, underrated character actor Harold Perrineau, Paul Rudd, and some old dudes who look like they on the cover ya parents' AARP
As always, we'll be using the Google Chrome extension Teleparty to watch the film - not Hulu's Watch Party extension. Movie will start around 9:05 PM ET. Bring your snacks and your snark!
