lmao oh shit. I forgot about Everybody Hates Chris. But yeah, that was a great show and I'd like to see more shows with black kids set in the 80s/90s and not the 60s/70s which has been overdone.

This looks great. I was so afraid it was going to be torture porn where we had to watch him and his family experience extreme racism every episode (Like "Them") but it looks like they aren't going that route.

I'm glad young people inside and outside of the Black American community will get to see these slice of life moments from that time. But it won't be me. I lived through it once and ptsd is real, so I support this show from a distance.

Yes but it doesn't hurt to have another one. The black TV shows from the 90s were some of my faves.
