eh, there are people out there who have skin conditions that are aggravated by taking too many baths. my goddaughter has terrible eczema and too many baths/showers make her itchy. (she does, however, wash herself off with a cool washcloth and a dermatologist-prescribed no rinse soap every night even if she can't shower.)
there are legit reasons, and besides that, even speaking as someone who does shower pretty much every day, I don't think daily showering is needed for most people (super active kids, athletes, people w/ physically demanding jobs, etc. are obviously exceptions)
"Dax chimed in, "Especially in the summer. In summer you loosen up...you’re just bathing them far less and you’re kind of leaving them in charge of it which they’re bad at. Then a whiff will hit you and you go ‘oh it’s time yeah in fact it’s probably time yesterday.’""
How on earth does this make any sense? Like I know they don't believe daily showers are necessary (gross enough) but Summer is when you.... become MORE relaxed with it?
When there is more heat and humidity to create sweat, and odor, and they are probably doing more outdoor activities exposing them to dirt and air pollution more often than normal? Brilliant.....very smart
Not that I believe anything they say or agree with any of it, but he probably meant they're more lax in the summer because they're not going to school/going places daily so there's less need to appear/smell clean because they're not around other people.
i really hope i never hear that mila's a piece of shit or something bc i've genuinely adored her for so long that i'd be really upset for like 5 minutes

my goddaughter's dermatologist is hopeful that she'll grow out of it after puberty (she's 9 now)
