I know these young celebs grew up on theinternet and consider social media a basic human right, but they need to stop interacting with fans this way. It’s just embarrassing all around

Right? I don't get it to be honest. If I were a celebrity, this would be me to everyone even thinking about talking shit:

Truly. This treating your fans like your friends you can just unleash all your cringe on needs to stop. They're just your customers.

Oh good a whole other post to see people take a bad joke about her tits which mirrors jokes about balls and dicks to be seen as body shaming about itty bitty titties. So fun.

It’s easy for adults to say just don’t look at this stuff. But I’ve watched pop stars for 20 years struggle cause they all hit a stage, usually between 18-22 when they do see every critical comment and don’t deal well.

Hell Madonna is 60 and still does it.

No matter who you are I could see it being hard to have so many people talk shit at you and about you and you aren’t supposed to tell them to kiss your ass.

i've seen comments on here about how a certain celeb shouldn't be famous because they don't deal with it well, when i don't think most people can really deal with fame that well.

(i think it's different for, say, actors though, since that's more low-key than pop stardom.)

Yea, music is just way more personal. Even when a musician has a persona, it's not the same as an actor playing a role and then moving on.

I've said this about Demi, but tbh its more that some of the people around her don't seem to have her best interests at heart (Scooter, her mom), and she has a tendency to lash out on social media (which I think she should get someone else to run).

Why can’t rich people just live their rich lives and mind their rich business? If had had that kinda money best believe I would not reply to any sort of criticism on fucking tiktok. Why reply? Why chose chaos? Embarrassing

I think its prob because they see so much of it it's hard to really ignore if you're actually interacting. Even Lil Nas X, who's the best at handling trolls on twitter, says some comments does get to him.
