All the rapes. That's all I think of whenever I think about this, and being grateful I decided at the last minute to not go. Those women went through some horrifying shit during this nightmare festival from hell.

That’s all I think about, too. I remember watching MTV News covering the event and being so frightened for the women there.

Agreed, that is the consistent theme from what I remember as a kid watching news coverage. That and mud/dehydration.

i think this was the festival that made me despise RHCP. i'm pretty sure they were interviewed about this and it made me realize they were all pretty rapey and vile.

wait, no, i wanted to double check that before posting. it wasn't this, it was at an mtv spring break concert. pigs.

I remember watching this live. It looked miserable, hot no shade, water and food being expensive af.

It really was something else. My mom wouldn't let us get the PPV so I was glued to MTV.

Yes yes yes, HBO has the best documentaries even if I hated Class Action Park.

I think I’ve been spoiled by the YT video coverage on it and podcasts like Swindled and Scam Goddess, both of which handled it fantastically but in different tones.

The first half is very lighthearted and like VH1’s I Love the series but the jokes fall flat since they are talking about tons of people getting hurt on incredibly dangerous “rides” and drunk teenagers running the park each summer. There is then a huge tonal shift towards discussing the deaths that occurred at the park and financial issues which led to them being closed.
