He's not funny, has no charm, stole the idea for his most popular segment, known asshole in real life (he's never denied the PopBitch plane baby story so I assume it is 100% true). Cancel the segment, cancel the whole show and the world is better off for it.

Who did he steal Carpool Karaoke from?

I hate James Corden but this is exactly what people wanted. He stopped using the foods promptly.
His success in general is annoying and unearned, idk how he got famous. But it's a decent response.

Agreed. I loathe his face and his voice but this is the best response anyone could have hoped for. I mean, ideally the segment would never have happened in its old form, but it did and he's taken the steps to correct it.

like every cuisine in the world has really bad dishes but to basically only highlight Asian ones?! come ON.

I don't think it was just Asian dishes, just did a quick look and Bieber had "bird saliva, ant yogurt, and beetle jello shots" for one example.

I would tell anybody anything they wanted to know if I had to eat those things instead.

i get that most stars are required to do his show if they have projects to promote, but why do they participate in these segments? tell me a truth about your personal life or we're going to force you to drink hot dog water? it's so fucking stupid. are audiences begging for this bit? it's so confusing

They want to go viral. An interview isn't going to do that unless they announce something wild and most celebrities won't announce something on a talk show because they don't have control over the content.

A segment like Carpool Karaoke or Spill Your Guts can go viral and get the celeb attention with very low stakes on their part.

but like, for example, james corden forcing olivia wilde to talk about her and harry...and if she doesn't, she has to eat dog shit or whatever: if that segment goes viral, james corden and his stupid show benefit. olivia just kinda looks stuck-up and boring. bad example, i know...it's just so weird to me that celebs opt into setting themselves up like this. carpool karaoke is equally stupid, but at least it makes sense
