Nah, she’s disgusting and her “apology” was an insincere attempt to save face. I left my family group chat over this last night because some of my older relatives were celebrating despite having been victimized themselves. I totally understand the need to defend Black people who’ve been treated unfairly by the judicial system but there are actual innocent Black men this energy could go towards. Cosby IS NOT INNOCENT! This need to defend predators and sweep incidents under the rug within our community needs to be addressed, I’m tired of it.

fuck her and all the black people cheering this bullshit on. We have so many things we need to fix in our community. Between this, people saying T.I is innocent, Bill is innocent, Chris Brown, Kodak Black being welcomed back with open arms. Do better black people.

I got into a fight with someone over Kodak and XXX. I can believe in 2021 i still have to fight over this shit but at the same time im just sick and tired of it. It shouldnt have to be controversial to not want degenerate monsters celebrated and apologized for.

That's....phew, seeing respected people in my field - black people! - who watch the versuz matches starring abusers with no qualms...I'm glad I follow several people who weren't about that shit.

Literally saw it all over my FB timeline. People were posting memes and joking about his release. And when I comment, I get the "It's just jokes. Chill." response or they actually argue about him being innocent. Bye. It why I hate logging on there. We really need to do better.

Oh so she started getting actual heat from her job and not just people Twitter....like please don’t treat everyone like they are stupid. You did not have some magical turnaround in less then 24 hours. I hope she loses her job, but I’m not holding my breath. Seems like it’s a popular view point there. I know I sure wouldn’t want to attend or send my kids to a college where the leadership held these kind of views

Exactly, what does that say about how they handle campus assault? 'It's fine if they're rich enough'?

ohwutevernvm July 1 2021, 14:38:50 UTC
EXACTLY. This cause sufficient irreparable damage to the campus and their reputations. That is all if they really care about.
