I used to spend sooo much time on tumblr. I'm so glad I finally deleted it a couple of years ago. I just reopened an account, but only because I wanted to follow a few sims 4 cc blogs, but I don't follow any regular accounts and I don't have the app on my phone.

I'm torn on it tho. On the one hand it feels like such a waste of time and it's full of a bunch of nerds. But on the other hand, it's a little more versatile than other social media apps and is easier to curate a good feed. But idk since the posts can get long it's weirdly more overwhelming to me than twitter.

I still have a tumblr and idk it's more of a vision board of things I enjoy and my own little corner of the internet where things don't have to be about me. It's the most calming to me of all the social media platforms imo which is funny because it used to be such a hellscape when I was on it in 2012 lol

I go on there like once a week and find shit to add to my queue. I definitely don’t go on there as much as the old days, when I would go on multiple times a day and try to catch up on any posts I missed

It's easy to curate your feed to what you enjoy and I like the tag system
