I feel for Luke, he is so out of his depth with this whole situation. June should be seeing a therapist, someone professional needs to help her deal with her trauma.

I really liked the idea of their group meeting, but I wish we could've seen it earlier, learn more about the other women in that group. Not a fan of how June came in and sorta edged out Moira, who clearly build this group as a safe space.

Fuck the Waterfords and every. single. person. who was outside the building they came out of.
Fuck Fred "Gilead works" especially. Fuck you unwanted pregnancy enforcing piece of shit.

Janine better raise hell.
I'm getting annoyed with Lawrence, what is his goal these days? Is he pro Gilead? Anti Gilead?

Are we supposed to believe that gilead works? We’ve seen so few kids there, and the system is not built for any kind of success just torture and misery. like Canada seems to be doing okay and hasn’t devolved into a children of men style dystopia...

As of right now, yes, the show absolutely wants you to believe that.

I think there was some reference (unless I totally made this up in my head) that after a few years, the birth rate took a turn and returned to a better state. But Gilead is just so far up their own ass that they think they somehow did it

I can’t wrap my head around Serena being pregnant. It’s such a stupid decision and I can’t imagine where it’s going to lead, but it’s not going anywhere satisfying.

They're going to punish her by taking her child away somehow, because it's what she deserves. Poetic justice, but in a way that makes me feel like punishing women in the worst way is just flippantly normalized for the show to play around with.

Yeah having her not see Nichole ever again should've been enough.

I am reallllllllly not liking this season.

June is so hard to watch. I get she is deeply deeply damaged but if I have to see another close up of her smirking face... it makes it so hard to root for her. It doesnt help with Elizabeth is given directorial duties.

Also, I've already seen comments of "see, Luke can push June off of him so he clearly wasnt raped the last episode" so like... congrats show.

If the episode(s) Moss directs would be focussed more on everybody else but her character I think that could work nicely, but since June is the character who has to get these stupid close ups all the time...

Can people just for a second stop being the worst? -.-

I am so annoyed AS USUAL.

The ending with all those bozos cheering Fred and Serena was sf stupid. Like there wouldn't be any actual protesters there who hate them?

As for the group therapy crap, I think anger is important and shouldn't be avoided. If you need to live there for awhile, then do it. But June literally forcing Emily to confront that woman was shitty.

I did lol when Lawrence told aunt Lydia, "we all know you like inflicting pain, everyone needs a hobby" and she was all offended.

Agreed on the protesters, especially because we have seen protesters again Gilead and the Waterfords before.

I wonder if a group not lead by a mental health professional is the best setting to deal with that anger, Moira is doing her best but also clearly not trained for this and a victim herself.
Yeah June was out of line just bringing the woman into the group and asking other people if she could stay to pressure Emily into letting her stay.

His tone with Lydia got me too.
