Many people seem to have known that that musical exists, but the release of the movie trailer yesterday had them actually look up what it is about. and no, it is not about a gay kid

I'm ngl, I was genuinely shocked when I read the plot summary on Wikipedia a few years ago. I don't know what I was expecting, but that was not it.

I looked it up when it was first on Broadway because I wanted to listen to the soundtrack with some context and was shocked so seeing everyone go through the same journey yesterday was delightful.
