i LOVE emily but she's so petite and doll-like that it's kinda hard for me to imagine her as katniss tbh (tho tbf i've never read the books so idk how she's described in them & only have jlaw to compare her to)

Hailee is the only one from that list I could see doing a solid job.

I think JLaw did well considering Katniss is a very introverted character. Although I wish they had seriously considered a Native American actress for the role.

I think Hailee would have been a really good pick and it would be an actual child which is the point of the hunger games

Exactly. I think the small size of Katniss and how she looks like a child is stressed in the books, so having a grown ass woman play her made no sense to me.

I like Jennifer Lawrence but when I rewatch the series, I dont quite like her as Katniss. There is something slightly off about it all for me.

Though those other five actors is a no for me (except Im not sure if I know who the last one is)
