I can see why she hates that term. When people hear so and so is the "it girl", I think they already have a target on their back.

I don't think I have seen many films with her. I believe the only movie I've seen her in was 21 Bridges and saw that for Chadwick.

The term has a negative connotation behind it, just as she said "it doesn't sound nice". Wonder why we never hear the term "it boy/guy"?

True. I think I only saw her in Stardust during her It girl era and I was already like, 'boo! hiss! I hate her,' even though that's very much the role she was playing

Is THAT Sienna Miller? I know I've seen her in stuff, but I can literally never remember her face. I think I had this same exact conversation with my dad a few weeks ago talking about American Sniper. I objectively know she's in that movie and that I have been forced to watch it with my dad, but I have no memory of her face.

The actress is currently filming new political series Anatomy Of A Scandal in London, where she plays the wife of a shamed politician played by Rupert Friend.

....She's still playing 'the wife' though in her next project....? Or am i missing something here.

I don't really have much of an opinion on her but I liked her in Factory Girl tbh.

I think she means she's done playing roles where her only role is to be the supportive wife of the angsty main guy - see her role in American Sniper.

Anatomy of a Scandal is more about her and Michelle Dockery's character than it is about the husband.

The book was meh, but I have a feeling it may translate better on screen with a few updated tweaks. I also love Michelle Dockery, so I think I'll probably give it a watch.

She ain’t wrong. I just kinda wish her career choices went better back then (speaking as ol’ skool stan back active here you might know my oldest icons were of Sienna lol). Like she had potentials to win Oscars in her own rights. Also on top of this topic, I remain never forgetting what Chloe talked shit on the ~modern 60s era OG It Girl Edie Sedgwick. So salty so rude lol. Like Chloe was never my fave ~It Girl from the beginning either. So this got me thinking about today’s generation’s media entertainment and I don’t even know who’s who right now lol. Who got "it" nowadays? Pardon me, Ive vaped too much today
