I love that he doesn't take himself seriously lol. I remember he had a few Mads stans that were so annoying and kept talking about how he should leave the show because he can do better. He clearly loves the show and likes working with Bryan Fuller so...

the hannibal series finale was perfect honestly. i'd be happy if it came back for more, but there's a part of me that thinks it's for the better if that never happens lol. in part bc i don't think anything looking like a conventional romance or sexual relationship is ever in the cards for will and hannibal, and the queerbaiting discourse would be exhausting lmao.

i do really want to see the storyline bryan fuller had planned for margot tho, where she dismantles the verger meat dynasty. tho lbr, she'd probably only get like 15 minutes of screentime in the full season so whatever.

Yeah Margot already seemed to have no screentime in the latter half of the third season! I wish we got more of her.

Same! I loved Margot and the changes made to her character in the show vs book. I wish she was more fleshed out along with her and Alana’s relationship, I think Bryan has mentioned he was planning to have Margot have a larger role in season 4.

Yeah! I would have loved to see more of her and Alana. It’s such a shame they didn’t get a season 4 😭 I keep hoping all this buzz does lead to a revival.

Sigh I wish we had a fourth season of this! I’m coming to the party late as I watched it only last year but it’s so good. I haven’t seen Silence of the Lambs but I heard Bryan wanted to do his take on it. The Red Dragon storyline was probably the weakest on the show but it was still good. Season 2 was top IMO.

Bryan did want to do Silence, but they don’t have the rights to Claire or those book characters, sadly.

Yeah I read they wanted to compromise with the studio that owns Clarice, but they didn’t go for it. 😭

Yep! MGM kind of seemed like they were being dicks about it. They really wanted their own version, which they pretty much have now on CBS. The irony being, of course, they can’t use Hannibal Lecter on a show about Clarice Starling. 😂 It’s hilarious to me that two versions of the character can’t exist out in the world; as if people would be confused. There are 9000 Batmans... but God forbid we have two versions of Claire in the world at the same time.

Hannibal is such an emotional rollercoaster for me I don’t think I could handle a fourth season, although I do wish I could see him again in the role, he was so absurdly charming it was unreal.

Yeah it’s not new information and it’s been known a few years and Bryan has talked about “the kiss” in interviews and on Twitter along with Hugh and Mads.

ehhh, bryan fuller and the cast bring up this stuff every once in a while to drum up interest for a continuation. i think there's an actual good bit of buzz about that now that it's on the us netflix and it's finding a new audience
