I know it's tradition to have the previous years Best Actor to present Best Actress, but I can't help but think they might have Halle there just in case, so that she can present Andra/Viola with a win.

They did this when Babs presented Bigelow with Best Director, and same when they had Lucas, Spielberg and Coppola presented Scorsese with his overdue win...They're so obvious with creating "moments" like this, so I really think this is a distinct possibility.

It always feels awkward to me when someone who had Oscar buzz but wasn't nominated is then a presenter i.e. Zendaya and Regina King (justice for One Night in Miami)

Sad about Regina losing out on the best director nom but her movie is up for 2 awards at least. And she's a great presenter, she always looks amazing so I'm just thrilled to see her tbh 😍

I'm upset about regina, and lbr zendaya had no chance. That was a mess of a movie

seems quite pandering to me haha "you weren't good enough for a nomination but you can hand an award out"

Excited to see the ratings for this plunge to a record low too.

Hey I'm sorry to go off topic. It's just that ONTD always helps make me feel better when I'm struggling and right now I'm like... really bad ( ... )

Well, that's scary and horrifying. Especially if the whole reason is because of not wanting to wake the baby. I'm kind of sad thinking that the mother isn't terribly shocked and is trying to rationalize why this is okay. It's absolutely unhinged behavior, and I'm sorry it left you feeling that way.

sounds like an abusive home waiting to happen or in the process of it. They did the right thing.

I’m so glad you left!! If he went off that crazy on a harmless delivery man, it was only a matter of time until he went off on you, the person caring for his child. I swear to God nannies have to deal with the most toxic shit! I hope you find a safer family to work for ❤️

I totally forgot that Bryan Cranston was nominated for an Oscar. And that Trumbo was a movie that happened.

I couldn't even force myself to watch it. Even the trailers were a trial.
I felt the same way about "Mank".

Trumbo is one of the least interesting movies I made myself watch. The lack of tension and stakes in that movie was incredible.
