I can't find what year she graduated but around her age range are:

Adam Driver
Oscar Isaac
Anthony Mackie

For some reason it'd be forever funny to me if A Thousand Miles was about Adam freakin Driver and he be asked about it in every interview from now until eternity.

Hmmm, are there any rotisserie chicken references or hints in “A Thousand Miles?” 🤔

I know everyone writes her off as a one hit wonder but I actually liked a lot of her older stuff when I was younger. Ordinary Day? Pretty Baby? The One??? I used to like White Houses a lot as a kid before realising as an adult it was about losing your virginity 😅 I got curious and listened to her recent album and it’s actually quite good! Very moody and atmospheric.

I was just listening to ordinary day and white houses in my car tbh!! My friend wasn’t into her baby voice, which is much more noticeable listening to her as an adult haha

I need to go back and listen to her stuff.
I think when I was younger, I had some internalized misogyny where I didn't appreciate female artists. I liked them as popstars but not them as "musicians." I remember even saying something of the sort to my best friend which is quite sad since I would dismiss a lot of music that wasn't on the radio. In my defense, this was when you would have to illegally downloadbuy the whole albums or just do it by the singles so it wasn't as easy just to browse music.

I LOVE these Vice videos! I've watched basically all of them, I even found the one on "Last Resort" by Papa Roach fascinating.

White Houses is my favorite of hers

Also loved this apartment tour video of hers

Also omg her mom is so cute in this video! Her mom seems so supportive and sweet
