It's funny to see nitpicks but it's annoying to see complete misunderstandings. For example they'll say something doesn't make sense when it's actually explained in the movie, they just didn't pay attention.

they're not though. this has been debunked endlessly that they may have started out like that but they now do think of themselves as "true critics" and all. and frankly their nitpicks are asinine and bad bc it's over some of the most basic shit that's already on screen and it affects how people view movies.

I’m going to miss the YouTube binging I started in the pandemic. I’ve discovered some great channels that I’ve had on whine cooking or whatever. I appreciate the long form essay format because they are soothing and the ones that do substantial research blow me away. I learn so much!
